a personal site, used for experimenting with code, design and photography

first, a very big thank you to my good friend linda, an extremely talented graphic designer and photographer, who most kindly provided me with the basis for this page. i wanted to get out of my comfort zone with colours, and requested something really bright and zingy. she did it!

i am currently wrestling with using css for positioning on web pages. if i ever get to be any good at this, you might even see me credited on my current favourite site. i also have a website which aims to help people get started in adobe golive 6.01.

in between i spend time on my garden make-over. i have friends from all over the world and some of them wanted to know about the little market town where i live and another nearby where i work. so in summer 2004 i went out and took some pictures. my husband and son went to canada for a short trip early in 2005 and brought back some photos. for new year 2005 we went off to belgium and holland. in march 2005 i decided i need some exercise, and ended up walking up a hill near my home. here are my ramblings. i then discovered that in mac osx i can drop a folder of images onto a neat little built-in application and have it generate web pages, with links to full-size version of the photos. here's what it did with my wrekin walk.
